“Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.”

Sunday morning worship

Our worship is formal and liturgical (but when we say “formal” we don’t mean how we’re dressed. Feel free to dress casual.) We come to worship God and the worship is focused on Him and not us. In the tradition of the Reformation we have centered our worship around the word of God. The public reading and then explanation (preaching) of God's word is how God speaks to us in the service. Our prayers, songs, confessions, and responses are how we speak to him. The worship is reverent and yet joyous because it is centered around Christ who is our chief joy. In worship, Christ lifts us up into the heavenly places with him, our faith is increased, and we are encouraged to stay faithful to Christ. We are currently preaching expositionally, verse by verse, through the gospel of Luke. Come join us!
